Read MoreResponsible for assisting with the scheduling, staffing, and operational aspects of the various sections in the department. Performs exams and provides guidance to the technological staff in order to ensure a high quality of work. Assists in the orientation and training of newly hired staff. Utilizes a variety of equipment including the scanners, power injectors, as well as computers and various software programs to enter patient related information into hospital databases. Contributes to overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and three years of previous experience required working in the specific modality; advanced ARRT registry in primary modality worked required. State of New Jersey licensure required. Requires the analytical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic specific, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth experience based knowledge. Requires the ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.
