Read MoreResponsible for determining differential diagnosis of Speech/Language/Swallowing/Feeding disorders by conducting appropriate evaluations. Plans and administers therapeutic services to patients in addition to counseling patients and/or families (guardian) regarding patients disorder. Writes evaluation reports and maintains patient files. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory/legislative policies as apply to the profession of Speech Language Pathology and adheres to same.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program. Current NJ State License in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology. If working in a school system, a NJ Department of Education Certification as Speech-Language Specialist is required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of hire or within 3 months of hire. For EIP (Early Intervention Program) employees only: Valid driver’s license with no pending violations and an acceptable driving record as stipulated by SJH policy and, if applicable, the SJH insurance carrier, for those required to drive a hospital vehicle.
