Read MoreResponsible for development and configuration of pharmacy automation systems to meet pharmacy standards, regulations, and operation requirements. Serves as a liaison between IT and pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy. The Automation Pharmacist will maintain quality assurance, system integrity, and customer satisfaction for assigned technology or automation. Provides ongoing review and assessment of user training needs and performs or arranges training as required.
Qualifications
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or master’s degree required and a minimum of two to three years of progressive hospital pharmacy experience required. Registration and licensure in accordance to the requirements of the NJ Board of Pharmacy required. Work requires prior Cerner and Omnicell technologies experience; experience with implementing automated solutions in pharmacies.
