Read MoreUnder general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides HIV counseling, education and testing to all clients requesting such services. Enters all required data on line. Completes all required DOH client forms, records and statistical reports. Provides crisis intervention and appropriate referrals to clients on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
Work requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of two to three years of occupationally-specific education beyond high school or an Associates degree and two to three years of previous work related experience plus three to six months of an on the job training and orientation. Certification required as a HIV Educator/Tester by the State of New Jersey.
