Read MoreWork under supervision of supervisor to provide support and education about breastfeeding to pregnant and breastfeeding WIC participants. Works collaboratively with nutrition staff to encourage and promote breastfeeding. Maintains all documentation and records as required.
Qualifications
Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and less than one year of previous work related experience. Must be a current or former breastfeeding mother and a current or former WIC (Women Infants and Children) participant. Must attend mandatory peer counselor training which will be provided and have a passing grade.
