Read MoreResponsible for directing the care and progress of patients in the Inpatient and Outpatient Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs. Reviews medical records of patients, selecting pertinent data to initiate and implement patient specific plan of care. Collaborates with other health care team members in planning patient's care. Implements exercise prescriptions for patients being mindful of their risk stratification. Assess physiologic responses to exercise, including vital signs, telemetry rhythm, and subjective patient responses. Adjusts exercise levels as indicated/appropriate.
Qualifications
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or closely related field, six to twelve months of previous work related experience or applicable internship, and three to six months of on the job training. Successful completion of department specific orientation, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire
