The Supply Chain Contract and Data Analyst improves the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills. They use interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different departments to recommend ways of improving the supply chain. Responsibilities include managing multiple data bases and creating and managing reports to support the department, value analysis committees and corporate.

Works with hospital staff, vendors, medical staff and consultants to identify process improvement and cost savings opportunities related to improved service and quality, product and process standardization. Actively participates in the selection, evaluation, monitoring, analysis and implementation of quality and cost-effective products and services

Qualifications

Education and training: High School diploma required. Bachelors Degree preferred. 1-3 years experience in supply chain and an analytical capacity preferred. Demonstrates expertise in data management, analysis and reporting. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data. Detail oriented with strong quantitative skills. High degree of proficiency in Microscoft Excel required. Proficient in Word, Access and PowerPoint. Creative problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and manage deadlines as required. Previous healthcare, supply chain or materials managemen, and Oracle experience a plus.

Strong communication skills, both in writing and orally. Excellent presentation and abiliy to explain and educate the benefits and uses of analysis techniques and to present analytical findings.
